How photographers have adapted to new technologies…

With all the change in technology lots of photographers have changed the way they work to adapt and keep up with these changes. Here are a few examples.

Fiona Tan

  • She is a filmmaker and photographer.
  • She has an exhibition at the Baltic this Summer.
  • The body of work is called ‘Vox Populi’ in 2011 in London and is commissioned by the photographers gallery.
  • The work is looking at work produced just before the digital revolution- it is looking at the shift from analogue to digital memories.
  • She collected images from peoples private albums.
  • She creates an exhibition and a book to go with it.
  • She only uses colour images. She looks at ‘ordinary’ family photography.
